Strictly speaking, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and during this time we see more ribbons and pink banners than any other time of the year. However, cancer doesn’t stop for the other 11 months of the year and neither do the stories of survivors.
Before radiotherapy treatment can begin, breast cancer patients have a CT scan, they are then tattooed with 1-5 pin point black or blue dots to allow for the accurate positioning for the treatment. Whilst some feel that their radiotherapy tattoos are marks of survival and strength, others may prefer not to have the physical reminder and would like to have their tattoos removed.
We use a state-of-the-art Laser and Intense Pulsed Light system (IPL) called the Lynton Lumina. The Lynton Lumina is a medical-grade and award-winning system, used by the NHS and private hospitals across the UK. Its active Q-Switched laser is considered the gold standard in tattoo removal and delivers exceptional clinical results.
While our radiotherapy tattoo removal service is complimentary, registration is required. A full medical consultation will also need to be completed to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for tattoo removal.
So, if you are ready to have your radiotherapy tattoo removed for free and have had clearance from your Oncologist, please call the Beauty Editor today on 01279 897 800 to arrange your consultation or visit us online at http://www.thebeautyeditor.co.uk
I look forward to meeting you…
